Recommendation
A wheelbarrow is one way to move mulch, but we recommend putting it on a tarp and dragging it. It will be much faster and easier on you and on your lawn. Mulch is light. Why carry a heavy wheelbarrow?
Appearance of Mulch
It will look darker at first. It has actually heated up on the truck and as it cools it will lighten.
Some people think that the fines are soil. They are simply aged sawdust. We recommend once it’s laid to water the mulch with a hose. This will get the fines down to the very base of the mulch and improve the weed control qualities of the mulch.
